Strategy mentor and sparring partner for scale ups – and healthcare board member

Annemarie Haverhals

Annemarie Haverhals works as an independent strategy advisor and board member for healthcare scale ups. Annemarie’s work is aimed at creating impact that is relevant for society, especially through improving (women’s) healthcare. She has 30 years of broad and extensive experience in strategy development and strategy execution. She started her career at McKinsey & Company. Thereafter, she built up a biotech start-up as CFO/COO and took the company public. She co-founded Spark & Co, a strategic consulting firm helping clients in their digital transition. In 2010 she shifted her attention to healthcare joining OLVG (a large Dutch hospital) as Director Strategy & Quality Improvement. Her healthcare experience includes working for Santeon (a collaboration between seven large hospitals) as their Director Value Based Healthcare, and Director of Programs & Innovation at i-Plus Solutions where she was responsible for improving health supply chains in Africa.
